Ways to Give
There are many ways of giving so that you are able to meet your needs and have the opportunity to support IMAGINE: The Campaign for our Future in a meaningful way. Everyone in the Bay Ridge Prep community will be asked to consider a pledge payable over a five-year period. Pledges are commitments made in good faith, but are not legally binding. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
PLEDGE
Most gifts to the Campaign are multi-year pledges. Pledging a gift over three to five years enables a donor to make a more substantial gift and to adjust the timing and amount of each payment to achieve optimal tax benefits. You can make a pledge online or download our Campaign pledge form. You will receive reminders throughout the year. Pledges can be fulfilled with one payment or paid in installments.
ONLINE GIFT
Our secure online giving is the fastest and easiest way to make your gift to the Imagine Campaign. You will receive an immediate confirmation once your credit card information has been submitted and confirmed. You will also be provided the option to arrange a recurring gift to schedule automatic charges to your credit card each month.
CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS
Increase your gift and your impact to the Imagine Campaign by doubling or even tripling the amount of your gift! Many businesses match the personal gifts to educational institutions that are made by employees, retirees, and family members. Contact your human resources representative for official guidelines (Guidelines vary by company). Please inform Regan Murphy, Director of Development rmurphy@bayridgeprep.org if you plan to submit a matching gift form.
GIFTS OF STOCK
Bay Ridge Prep donors are discovering the ease and added benefits of giving gifts of appreciated securities. Often, giving a gift of securities will create tax savings for the donor. A wire transfer is the easiest way to make a gift of securities. To make a gift of stock or securities, please contact Regan Murphy, Director of Development rmurphy@bayridgeprep.org.
PLANNED GIFT
Bay Ridge Prep is happy to work with you on planned gifts. These are sometimes referred to as “stop-and-think” gifts because they require some planning and, often, help from your professional advisers. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and come to fruition upon your death. The simplest planned gift is a Bequest through your will.
MEMORIAL OR HONOR GIFTS
A gift may be made to the Campaign in memory or in honor of a family member, alumni, students, parents, a faculty member and other friends of the School. When these gifts are received, the Development Office notifies all parties and gift recognition is identified in our Campaign report.

Naming Opportunities
Named gifts offer a meaningful and lasting opportunity to associate a donor’s name—or that of a loved one—with Bay Ridge Prep. We are pleased to offer a variety of giving levels and naming opportunities to meet the personal philanthropic goals of our donors. The naming opportunities will reflect Bay Ridge Prep’s desire to allow our donors to acknowledge the importance of our School in their lives and in the history and future of our community.
